Who We Are

Jeff’s passion for natural spaces began as a little boy growing up on a homestead in Ohio. Wild blackberries and a rambling creek took root as some of his first memories. He carried this passion into adulthood working at a native California nursery and beginning to design and later owning and running an organic farm back in Ohio, where pristine ecological practices and permaculture design determined his business and family lifestyle.

After moving to back to Southern California in 2017, Jeff longed to create spaces that defined location. He rediscovered the artemisia, black and white sages, California lilacs and manzanitas that lavish the wilderness trails here, and was drawn to the “sense of place” that this native flora defined for him.

Today, Jeff extends his gift of stewarding nature into landscape design, often sharing with his clients a glimpse of his heart for creating site-specific spaces that are memorable, personal, deeply satisfying and rewarding.
